You clearly don’t live on the Goldy to understand that Robina is a major stopping point with plenty of demand and places that are frequently visited by a lot of people.

I could continue but my point is that some people here clearly have zero clue about what’s out there.
I’d reckon the real express service that should be done in the future (even though it would require some complicated station rebuilds) is Boggo Road to Helensvale, stopping only at Altandi, Loganlea and Beenleigh.
It would require passing tracks or extra platforms at Helensvale, Ormeau (with a relocation to Eggersdorf Rd), and Coomera.
Beenleigh stoppers would be extended to Helensvale to terminate there, acting as locals between there and Beenleigh.
With Varsity Lakes being the main bus connection between the railway line and Burleigh Heads, soon to be the southern terminus of the GCLR, I’m not sure why you’d skip it.

The 711 will run until 10:30-11pm which is quite the change to its current service span. 727 is still woefully inadequate, particularly out of Helensvale. 718 still has a weird 2hr gap between services at lunchtime.
Inexplicably, two extra minutes have been added to the rail schedule, and I’m pretty sure QR will add two more when Merrimac comes online. Not sure why dwell times are becoming so massive.
Dwell times should be kept at 30 seconds, tops. Helensvale and Beenleigh I would understand to keep them at 60 seconds due to heavier passenger loads but Pimpama right now has TWO MINUTES of dwell.
Units 1008 and 1009 (more MAN 19.330 GBV) have been put online yesterday and today respectively. From my understanding both will be based at Molendinar.
And apparently Kinetic is planning to introduce electric minibuses to its On Demand operation this year.
The fleet of 59 (about to be 60) MAN GBV buses Kinetic is now operating across the GC have been receiving two extra Smart Ticketing readers per bus, now having two per door.
Not sure if these readers are brand new or removed from old retired units, but if we’re talking about 120 readers then these might be brand new stock from Cubic.
IF the state govt is still planning a plan for the bleeding obvious ie the heavy rail extension from Varsity Lakes to Coolangatta - not to mention, in time, over the border into…drum roll…gasp…another state…gasp again, for those still on pre-Federation time, then God help us all!
