It is political bullshit that benefits us, tho.
Previously the council was adamant that there was no money and that they did not know when footpaths would reopen. Now, there has been so much noise thanks to a lot of people including the BUGs that council suddenly came up with magical money that did not exist to do an interim solution.

Perhaps making more noise will force them to find more of that magical money for the rest of the bridge.
