BTQ strongly supports the introduction of train line numbering for SEQ. This is a common practice throughout the world and simply matches what we already do on buses, ferries and trams.

### Quotes attributable to Rowan Gray, Better Transport Queensland President

"Line numbering will be a good thing for the legibility of the rail network.”

“Anyone who’s ever looked at Google Maps — or the official journey planner — and been befuddled by VLDB, RPIP, or even CACA, will soon see sensible, legible labels like T1.”

“It’s important to get this bedded in well before Cross River Rail opens. That way the information changes, but the presentation is already familiar.”

### Summary of line numbering

- T1: Rosewood to Gympie North (incl. Ipswich, Caboolture & Nambour)
- T2: Springfield Central to Kippa-Ring
- T3: Doomben
- T4: Cleveland to Shorncliffe
- T5: Varsity Lakes to Brisbane Airport
- T6: Beenleigh to Ferny Grove
