Should Brisbane City Council sign contracts to Waymo and Tesla for Automated driverless Taxis for the inner city?.
No.
They’re not legally allowed in any sort of general use. Very limited pilots and testing scenarios only.

I agree with ClevelandLine on this. The technology is not yet to a point where I would have confidence in sharing the streets with an automated taxi, much less actually use one.

My main issue would moreso how would these self driving taxis fair with some of the dickheads on our roads (please pardon my language)
True. I was having a read around on self driving taxis and the main problem seems to be other drivers crashing vehicles into them.
