Buses and Brisbane are like cheese and wine. It’s so fine and nice. With the new metro nearly a year into service and the big bus network change of 2025 I was hoping for improvements in the bus network in 2026. Many things have improved but their still things I notice that could be improved.
Pro - more buses and frequency, more stops and generally better experiences
Cons - inconsistent frequency and questionable drivers at times. Delayed arrival screen (although the new E ink display ones are very good)
Generally I believe the service is doing well but there is always room for improvement. I just really hope that they can fix this inconsistency as too commonly I have had two to three buses behind the bus I normally get being behind schedule. And get upset when I sometimes see two buses with the same route number behind each other more commonly that I want or expect.
