Are Transdev helping with Rail Buses today? I saw a bus leave the Transdev depot at Capalaba with the words Rail Bus on its PID. No number given.
" … Queensland Rail has reached an in-principle deal with unions on half of its disputed enterprise agreements – but rail drama for commuters is set to continue.
… Queensland Rail said the reduced south-east Queensland timetable would continue due to a backlog of train maintenance, continued protected industrial action, and ongoing negotiations across the remaining agreements. … "
Strikes on Origin cancelled
At least it’s a step in the right direction.
So, I’m currently sitting on an R586 at the intersection of Kessels & Logan Rd. Driver didn’t take the busway entrance just south of Upper Mount Gravatt, and a fellow passenger is now directing him back on to the busway.
I’m honestly wondering if these drivers get any training whatsoever.
When I was driving into the Rochedale Park n Ride one day last week, I crossed paths with a railbus coach driving back out of School Road towards Rochedale Road. I don’t know where it thought it was going, but I would have loved to see how the driver managed to turn the coach around there!
Considerable delays on the combined Banoon-Varsity Lakes service tonight, allegedly due to a stick caught in the OHLE at Ormeau.
"REGIONAL TRAINS UPDATE ![]()
Now, the Spirit of the Outback and Spirit of Queensland services will return to capacity by mid-July, with two and four weekly trips respectively."
Interesting, to say the least.
I wonder if this is linked to next generation Go Card works or linked to the real-time system being offline as late
Can we still top up at newsagents that do gocard top ups?
How is it every update they do they manage to screw up something. First real-time now this (and you can’t even ask them over web - webchat is offline!)
Due to an outage impacting our go card and ticketing systems, you won’t be able to top up your go card using our fare machines or ticketing offices at stations.
You’ll still be able to use your go card to tap on and off of services, as long as there is an existing balance on your card.
If you’re unsure of your balance, consider using our contactless payment options.
During this time, you won’t be able to:
- Top up your go card using out ticketing vending machines or ticketing offices at stations.
We’re working to fix this outage as soon as possible and will provide updates as they become available.
They’re destroying the public transport system through neglect. These types of things don’t make the front page of the Courier Mail so the government is happy to let it happen.
go card top ups still unavailable as of today
Big delays on the Ipswich line right now, QR reporting an overhead power issue, people commenting saying potentially a train has taken down the OHLE and lost its pantograph.
Either way, sounds like a mess.
Nothing running beyond Corinda.
go card top ups back online and working again ![]()
Back up? Anytrip showing trains through Corida to Ippy & Springfield but TL has the service notice up
