I’m assuming biggera waters will be L2. That way if it’s a biggera to Burleigh or biggera to BBS and Helensvale to Burleigh or Helensvale to BBS the L1 and L2 map will look like Sydney’s L2 and L3

The voice does sound very AI, and to me sounds like a downgrade over the previous guy. That pronunciation of Nerang Street is pretty jarring - not as bad as the voiceover on the Clarks buses that have the function (“Em Tee Gravatt”, “Elizabeth Saint Stop 82”) but definitely not great.
I do miss the illustration on the old line map. I believe it was someone from Queensland College of Art (Griffith) Gold Coast campus who created them for/with Goldlinq.

Yeah, Clark’s is pretty bad, but I wouldn’t assume it’s AI. It’s probably just basic text-to-speech software.

But I wonder, why did they pick a Friday to open it and not either a Saturday/Sunday during the weekend or early Monday Morning at the start of the week like they have with other projects. And such short notice, makes me wonder?
I’ll believe it if GCLR real-time is back tomorrow, it’s been offline for the better part of a month and a half now

It’s opening on Sunday.
