First revenue services to or from the Stage 3 alignment leave Burleigh at 6:00am and Helensvale at 5:30am.

So it seems that (at least for now), the 700 and 777 will continue to run (presumably mostly empty, between Burleigh and Broadbeach. The exception would probably be people starting their journey south of Burleigh, and finishing it south of Broadbeach (or vice-versa).

Interesting they’ve confirmed it to be L1.
That would also explain why real-time has been out for a while.
It wouldn’t shock me if that wasn’t the case and TL hasn’t updated any timetables, they seem to only update things the day before at this rate.
Been reliably informed bus changes will happen on the 24th of August, give or take.

I have to imagine the “L1” is designed to drive confidence for the harbourtown extension because that is such an easy goal and makes an L2

Journey Planner has (surprisingly) been updated to reflect the new timetable. What ARE they writing in this service notice?

I would be very surprised if it was not L1 both directions for Helensvale-Burleigh, and then L2 for the Harbour Town branch.

This is true. Will be a great wayfinding asset no matter what
Things like this infuriate me. Much like BCC does. It should be a violation of the service contract for proprietary graphic languages and identities. This line diagram should look no different to the new line diagrams for heavy rail stations.

GCLR real time still offline on AnyTrip & Nextthere this morning like it’s been for the last month. Go figure.
TL app shows it though (but who uses that)

^ It’s the first day of passenger ops and the last day ended only a matter of minutes earlier, so I’m not that concerned. It will settle down again.

Real-time arrival data is working fine, but vehicle location is not. Will probably get fixed in the next day or two.
