I think it’d be ideal if the trams crossed at the Burleigh LX. Today it seems to have been that we have the terminating tram come in just before the northbound one is due to leave, which is a lot of congestion at the tap points at the same time as northbound pax are rushing to make their tram.

The crossing at burleigh heads is a bit of a joke. waited several minutes at a very packed crossing before you can cross. Ontop of it just being annoying and not needed when you properly design a system, any kind of bus interchange goes out the door when crossing the road becomes a major hurdle.

It would be great if it was designed to be similar to the transfer at Juniors Kingsford on the terminus of the L2 in Sydney. Then again, I guess Burleigh Heads never was intended on being a terminus/significant bus interchange in the longer term until recently.
