The EU objected to Chinese low-floor light rail cars to be used in Lisbon. This could be a landmark decision, seeing the prevalency of Chinese vehicles. I do remember there being concerns about this before i.E DB was criticized for including Chinese electric buses in their big bus tender instead of European brands but this seems to be the first concrete move against Chinese firms.
