Sigh… three car is better than no car I guess…
I almost envy the Gold Coast and Beenleigh lines with their railbuses now

I take it Cleveland & Ferny hit hardest as they currently have the most IMU/SMUs as NGRs cant be split?

They can also get quite crowded at times, and more than once I’ve had to wait at Boggo Rd for the next bus.

Sometimes, I’ve even had to wait for the third bus.

I hope we don’t get any 3-car Banoon trains this week…

Was there a non-revenue service this morning for Cleveland (and assuming a couple other lines)
Did the 2.30am train come back to Cleveland for the 6.11am service, as Cleveland Station was empty when I passed it to head to a dawn service at 4.50am.

Noticing a couple signs across the SEB on the PIDs about the busway being busier than usual due to track closures and to allow for extra time. Good move. Especially seeing my M1 is at standing room only passing through Buranda

On another note, I’m seeing a bit of vaping on board the M1 - two trips today and people vaping the whole trip.

M1 via Woolloongabba.
Apparently M1s are running Woolloongabba before turning back towards Mater Hill inbound assuming AFL. No signage or PID announcement

I’ve been seeing a ton more vaping recently on trains and buses. Not sure if they’ve stopped enforcing the rules or something else is causing the increase, but not a fan!

Oh no! that shouldn’t be happening nor eating on the bus.

While I agree people shouldn’t eat on the bus, I think vaping is far more hazardous/offensive.

Smu 236, the rear 2 carriages are completely painted over on the left hand side in direction of travel. It’s somehow still in service despite this extreme graffiti.

They really don’t have a good plan for removing graffiti off trains and I feel like the more trains parading around like that the more it will encourage vandalism.

Out of curiosity, any idea where the trains are being vandalised? Is it one location or multiple?

Those “Locked” stickers are doing a lot of heavy lifting and look downright stupid lmao

Strikes start May 5, as noted in Disruptions thread

So GC/Beenleigh passengers might get 4 days of normal operations before another set of disruption happens.

OH JOY

Someone also appears to have tagged an entire NGR recently, as seen online https://www.instagram.com/p/DXl2J8fkoWu/

Buses are having a particularly bad afternoon/evening today, with some trips being up to an hour an a half behind schedule.

Saw a bike on the 125 inbound today… like a mountain bike. What happened to etiquette

all the more reason we really need to consider installing bike racks on buses. I think that it would be very useful to people who are not near a bus stop.
