Saw the train fixed fly through Coorparoo at about half past two this afternoon.
Another win unfortunately for the Rosewood line.
Trains are magically flying between Roma Street and Corinda again tonight, I just looked and theyâre in the timetable on Journey Planner funnily enough despite the service notice saying otherwiseâ

There was also a poster a Central Station that stated trains were running express between Roma St and Corinda via Tennyson. Didnât think to get a photo, sorry.

Not the only train affected, including, bizarrely, a Beenleigh train. Also, TL social media team need to watch their spelling â#TLBeenelighlineâ oops. I wouldâve thought theyâd have a list of predetermined hashtags to choose from, but I guess not.
I assume that Beenleigh line train was affected because the express Corinda-Roma Street train had to run on the same tracks from Yeerongpilly inbound.
Also, petition to rename Beenleigh to âBeenelighâ?

Random question. Iâm on an artic, which Iâm guessing by the fact itâs a 142 is from Willawong. No idea what number or model, sorry.
Iâm in the rear-facing seat at the back of the front section, and thereâs something that looks like some kind of electrical connector in front of me.
Anyone know what itâs for?
Itâs probably the one horcrux invented by Transport for Brisbane thatâs preventing the gas artics from retiring. If you donât break the horcrux, they are forever immortal and bound to be apart of the bus kingdom for another 20 more years.

Bus propaganda with all these industrial closures happening around the place - trains reduced, ferries on strike 
I feel like this industrial action wouldâve been settled months ago had the sanctions been more extreme: all train lines stuck at 30 minute frequencies in peak; and Nambour line every 90 minutes all-day, acting as a shuttle to Caboolture.
Now that wouldâve caused public mutiny in the streets of Brisbane.

Under the assumption and maybe false hope that weâre getting new train line names along with the L1 for trams, I wonder if this coincides with the new PIDs and maybe new line colours (one for each T1 rather than the shared as is now)

Probably one of the most likely of places for it to happen, given thereâs a race track about 300m away.
Not sure why/how the horse seems to have crossed over the tracks to get to what seems to be the western platform though, given the race track is east of the station

While I would really like our rail lines to be numbered like in NSW, Iâm inclined to believe this was a decision made by Keolis Australia, the mob that actually operates the G:Link. If the heavy rail network does follow suit, it would probably be because QR was inspired by G:Linkâs move to do this, rather than a coordinated effort by Translink themselves.
Keen to hear other peopleâs perspectives though because I donât have too much understanding of the inner-workings of these companies.

Youâre probably right, because Translink and coordinationâŚsomething something about being unable to organise an activity in a house of ill repute with a large number of high-value banknotes.
Theyâre a shambles right now. Worse than ever, IMO.

Currently onboard an Airport train that came to a very abrupt stop at Trinder Crossing (on the LX itself).
Since I starting writing this, we started moving again. Guard announcement that someone was crossing the tracks with a scooter, no idea where, because the train was physically on the crossing.

Further to this, the guard announced that anyone having discomfort or injury due to the emergency stop should make themselves known to station staff, and the train is now terminating at Central due to issues with the train. Unsure if related to the earlier emergency stop.
