"Dramatic crash occurred at about 6:30pm at the intersection of Beaudesert Road and Boundary Road in Archerfield, in Brisbane’s south.

According to initial reports:

* A car became airborne and crashed through the side of a bus in what has been described as a freak accident.

* The female driver of the car was freed from the wreckage and was treated for leg pain.

* The bus driver was not injured.

* There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash, avoiding what could have been a much more serious incident.

* Emergency services attended the scene, and the circumstances leading to the crash are under investigation."

I’m guessing it was either a Willawong operator that got caught up in that location due to their depot being close-by. Probably about to embark to the City to start a rocket service going out to the suburbs…

On an another note, TAG axle buses are mighty strong, since it didn’t topple over from the impact of the car T-boning it.

Okay nevermind.. it was a Sherwood TAG axle. S5051 specifically.

The Shorncliffe line morning peak trains are always busy under the old timetable, but the new one is an absolute crush. He wouldn’t see it going North, but he will experience the crush on the GC line. It’s always been a packed line even when fares were a joke under the silly 325 zone Anna Bligh model (god I hated that silly old zone system).

I’m actually on one, and its on the Tennyson rn. The NGR is going super fast :sob::sob::sob::sob::sob:

I tried making out where the old Tennyson station used to be but alas, it was pitch black outside.

And now I’m at Corinda station! It feels like going express has saved me light years of time.

So their own trip data shows trains running express between Roma St and Corinda, while the tracks via Milton are closed. How do they think the trains are getting there? Flying? :laughing:

Anyone noticed a pretty bad rough spot on the northbound approach to P2 at Banoon? It’s caused quite a bit of vibration the past couple of mornings.

I wonder if it will be fixed in tomorrow night’s closure? :thinking:

CLEVELAND LINE: Customers, due to a broken-down train at Birkdale services are currently suspended between Thorneside and Cleveland stations in both directions. We are currently experiencing delays of up to 60 minutes for customers travelling between Thorneside and Cleveland stations. Rail replacement buses have been requested, however are not yet in operation. Our crews are currently en route, and we will continue to keep you updated.
