I was on this unit last weekend, and made a point of telling the guard there was an issue with this door.
Good to see it was actioned!
Lucky they’re not responsible for safe boarding and doors to ensure they’re not designed out of the network! Oh wait.

That Lota colour in the first photo looks very Springfield-Redcliffe esque

Had my wife worried the other day “what’s a Lota train?!” was the message I got 
Likely comes straight outta manly yard and runs to lota to turn around instead of doing that step out of service.

I’m not sure if others have noticed, but it looks like Route 100 had a quiet route change. Route 100 OB now seems to travel to Woolloongabba, turn around, turn left towards Buranda, then jump on the Eastern busway to O’Keefe St, then turn left onto Ipswich Road. Previously would have gone straight ahead onto Jurgens St, then made its way to Ipswich Road. And it seems to be on every run now given there is a ‘Bus Route - 100’ yellow arrow sign now posted on O’Keefe St.
Bit of a weird change to be honest as typically to prevent confusion, you keep the bus route on the same route IB and OB (depending on road design/traffic direction). Not a big issue though as PA Hospital is the first stop on Ipswich Road after Woolloongabba, although it’d be nice if they updated the PDF map to prevent confusion.
I kinda wonder why they decided to keep the current IB route on Ipswich Road to Woollongabba, rather than getting it to turn right onto O’Keefe St then get onto the busway that way, doing a U-Turn after departing Woolloongabba on both the IB and OB routes, just for consistancy. It’d be interesting to see which would be quicker given there are no stops between PA Hospital and Woolloongabba.
Hmm, now wondering if it’d be worthwhile to take route 100 out of Woolloongabba and just send it directly down the busway after departing Mater Hill to O’Keefe St, instead of backtracking. Route 125 would still cover the Gabba if people who normally would board the 100 at the Gabba, they could get onto a route 125 to PA Hospital and transfer to the 100 instead.

There was a holdup at Mater Hill earlier today due to 5060 having broke down on the outbound side.
Similarly, I would also like to see routes 114/119/120/121 stopping at Greenslopes, and exiting out of Barnsdale Pl.
It would save them having to wait through 3 unsynchronised lights. However, this would mean no more buses along the Earl St bus stop.

Would it be possible for buses to turn left from Barnsdale Pl into Ridge St/turn right from Ridge St into Barnsdale Pl without issues (mainly from tags and artics which are used more often on the 120)?

Also had the pleasure of an old SMU as they seem to be on the Cleveland line this evening.
It’s covered in graffiti but it’s got way comfier seats and orange lights. Way more aesthetic
