Follow up from does Brisbane have a crackhead problem, I think we need to put police on every train and bus. Especially at night.
Where are you taking police away from their existing duties to achieve that?

Not even sure we have that many cops tbh
All nightlink services have a security guard on it, and most late night trains have a handful too. I’m not sure how practical replacing security guards with police officers would be.
Generally speaking, I think there’s merit behind increasing the general presence of police officers on the network, however on all services in impractical. If people see them on the service often enough, anti-social behaviour will naturally reduce.

Put them on every 2nd-3rd station but mix it up each night as deterrance.
I.E: Lota, Wynnum Central, Lindum, etc one night and then Manly, Wynnum, Wynnum North, Murrarie the next

Hiring blitz. And eventually also have police robots.
We need them day round especially in the afternoon school run because some kids do stuff they are not supposed to on the trains
QPS isn’t even able to fill their current vacancies. I don’t know how you think advertising for more will suddenly make suitable candidates appear.
