Unappealing as the example in the OP post is, at least it’s accessible by a footpath (even a reasonably wide one).
This bus stop is on Blunder Road (on the 100 bus route). To reach it you need to cross a 4 lane 70 km/h road.
A few hundred metres south is another bus stop that is accessible by footpath. However, the adjacent intersection is missing a pedestrian crossing, forcing you to make 3 very long (and usually very hot) crossings to reach it from the shops on the other side of Blunder Road.
