Should we revive the Citytrain branding for South East Queensland?

Should Queensland rail bring back the Citytrain Branding for all South East Queensland trains.

In the 1990s and 2000s the rail network ran under the Citytrain branding. I wonder if suburban services should be spun off back to this branding (albeit with a refresh). TransLink could even take over the services and call them TransLink Citytrain whilst QR still runs the trains, maintains the infrastructure and hires the staff etc.

It’s still unofficially referred to as the citytrain by some.

No. There are already more brands than an Aldi supermarket. What is the benefit?

If we’re going to bring back the Citytrain branding, then we might as well go all in and give some of our NGRs some nice looking liveries. Give one of them a Candy XPT livery.

I think if anything it’s more likely they will just clap citytrain stickers and call it a day
