Changes planned to the heavy rail network include:
- Central station renamed to “Sydney Terminal” for some reason.
- Airport and Macarthur lines separated.
- Macarthur line extended to Wolondilly, unconfirmed if this means electrification to Picton.
- Leppington line extended to Bradfield South as announced previously.
- Leppington line diverted to Parramatta Metro station and what appears to be a restored Carlingford line up to Epping.
- Lidcombe to Bankstown services removed.
- New Westmead Hospital to Kogarah line, linking several suburban lines together.

^ “Sydney Terminal” is platforms 1-14. It shows up in the public facing timetables as “Central” but with an “i” against the arrival/departure time (for “intercity”). Suspect they have used this to emphasise that for certain lines and stations, all services will go to the intercity platforms when this is currently not the case (ie all “South Line” services south and west of Revesby, all “Western Line” services west of Blacktown, all “South Coast Line” services south of Sutherland including the stretch to Waterfall).
