The Tennyson line served as the first rail connection between the southern lines and the rest of the network, prior to the Merivale Bridge being built.
The last regular passenger service along the line connected South Brisbane with Corinda and ran on 3rd June 2011.
It has always been used extensively by freight from the western lines to the Port, and also continues to connect the southern lines to the city if needed (for example, during certain Cross River Rail construction disruptions).
This post is a wiki and you can edit it to add more information about the line if you like!
