Last year when I contacted the team they simply said it was still in the planning phase despite the timeline for procurement being passed. I saw on a government website recently (can’t recall exact location) a line saying they are discussing with the neighbouring TOD project.
I suspect it will be a totally different plan/design. Maybe they are even trying to make a plan with over station development to sell to the private sector. That would align with the current governments pro-developer strategy.
opened up Qtrip and I see that Albion station is listed as having completed planning, being under procurement, and construction due to commence next year.
So maybe they’ve just been slowing it down and not communicating but have kept the project the same.
I suspect that it is just related to the aboveground station structure and associated plaza landscaping. Revamping surrounding footpaths and access points, etc.
This is a question I’ve been trying to answer on and off for months now, best I can tell it’s just landscaping & possibly changes made due to the closure of the tiny section of Herschel St outside the station
