What on earth happened to the promised Gold Glider for Hamilton to Woolloongabba via Valley/CBD?
Council announced it in 2021, allocated nearly $100,000 for a business case, submitted it to TMR in 2022, then the “blue” Opposition promised it again in October 2024. State taxpayer funded advertising in the CBD was spruiking it in 2025, but there’s still zero sign of any actual buses.
What’s going on? If it takes half a decade to deliver a single new “high frequency” bus route we are absolutely rooted for 2032.
