Getting a bus into the city from newnarket shops. 5 buses arrive within 30 seconds of eachother, the 345 being the last of them which is what i want. The next bus is the following 345 in 15 minutes.
Some better timetable planning would go a long way on this busy section of kelvin grove/enogerra road.

Unfortunately, bus bunching is almost a mathematical inevitability which nobody has ever really solved. The solution is a train.

" ⌠A car has ploughed halfway up the side of a Brisbane bus in the cityâs south.
The driver of the Toyota Yaris, a woman in her 40s, reported chest pain but did not suffer any major injuries.
Police and paramedics were called to the intersection of Beaudesert Road and Granard Road in Rocklea just after 6.30pm on Wednesday.
No passengers were on the bus, which was not on a route at the time.
The driver of the car was taken to the Princess Alexandria, where she was treated for shock.

Wonât affect the rail station, but the Ferny Grove TOD is (finally) nearing completion meaning bus connection stops will get a new home. Most of the shops are in the final stages of fitout. No word on an open date yet, but sound like late Aug/early Sept might be around the mark.

A Translink branded Hydrogen bus featured on Volgrens social media a couple days ago. Any idea where itâs heading?
Transdev were supposed to trial two Hydrogen buses based out of Capalaba. Originally were due to be commissioned in 2024.
I donât know enough about the Redlands fleet and whether they have received these vehicles yet or if these are the ones mentioned.

These 2 are in a schoolbus specification and are on the Sunshine Coast.

To add on to Surfrailâs comment, both are operated by CDC Sunshine Coast (local school bus contract operator) out of their Kunda Park depot, which appears to have a temporary containerised H2 refilling station set up just for this âtrialâ.
I honestly have no clue how much theyâre actually used for real school runs. Iâve seen them driving around a few times in Maroochydore however almost every time the desto is set to some sort of âPowered by Hydrogenâ marketing message and they are often spotted together so they might be doing evaluation runs.

A bit of congestion between Upper Mount Gravatt and Eight Mile Plains this afternoon.
From what I overheard on the (TfB) driverâs radio, this was due to a loose access hole cover in the northbound lane, and I saw a crew working on it when I went past a few minutes ago, with contra-flow in place (I think).
Pretty crappy photos, but got some pictures of some of the buses at Volgren, including some of the B8RLEA TMRâs going to Council. Appears to be about 17 or so buses in total.

Any ideas on what the council fleet numbers will be for these once they get put into service (not the TMR fleet numbers)? Canât see them using 1671+ and 3100+ so my guess is itâll be 4001+.
Not really sure, but I do know that they are going to Willawong. Not sure if that is all 50 of them but maybe.
