X: Cleveland line trains are currently suspended from Lindum to Manly due to balloons caught in the overhead power line. There are delays of up to 30 minutes.
Didnât they make helium balloons illegal in Qld, unless they are regular balloons?
Helium balloons can be sold, provided they arenât released outdoors. I think itâs pretty unlikely regular balloons would end up in OHLE. Iâm guessing someone did what the law said they couldnât.
No commuter catchups for the Beenleigh and Gold Coast linesâ ![]()
I guess we all know why though (cough cough all-stops Bannon trains) ![]()
Cowards.
Seems Kinetic now operates majority of TL services outside of Greater Brisbane.
Couldnât get a photo but saw what appeared to be a yellow boxy train at Thorneside station through the trees
Line is closed for track works.
Also on the Manly-Cleveland works, most of the works appear to be on the Birkdale Road Bridge and Bagden Rd/Hardy Rd bridge
Could have been the rail grinder
Probably
Huh, never seen translink report Straddie ferry service disruptions before. Interesting!
Itâs not a Translink service, right?
Yeah thatâs the interesting part. But hey, itâs appreciated nonetheless.
50c to Straddie would be nice, but no it isnât
Despite it not being a TransLink service, 50c fares still apply:
The buses are TL coordinated, but the ferries are still very much not.
Some short delays due to a vehicle striking a level crossing boom gate at Kuraby.
X: Beenleigh and Gold Coast line trains travelling towards Brisbane City are delayed up to 15 minutes due to a road vehicle striking a level crossing boom gate at Kuraby. Beenleigh and Gold Coast line trains away from Brisbane City delayed up to 10 minutes. https://bit.ly/46hg08M
