I think we should preserve EMU’s 01, 04 and 59 and restore them into their original condition. EMU 01 should be put on display at Ipswich Rail workshops whilst 04 & 59 should also be repainted into their old colours and kept for special occasions and heritage runs. Some other EMU carriages can also be converted into granny flats, or cafes. Could even use the carriages for filming fight scenes in for some cinematic blockbuster. It would look cool in a marvel movie, pretending to be set in New York or somewhere.
