Now I have made the connection! These PIDs have the same layout as the PIDs on Perth’s train network.

Any update on if/when QR plan to start implementing these PID designs? I am not sure these can be improved on all that much so they should just press ahead. My only comment would be add wording ‘all stations’ above the dotted line after Central.

Just caught a bus from Stop 202 Brunswick St near Wickham St. Surprised they don’t have an e-ink display here, as it’s a very busy/well-used stop.
For some reason Transdev are dragging their feet at rolling out their new PIDs on all their bus fleet, I was on some today and both green livery and teal livery it’s been over a month since they started appearing

If not already reported, I noticed today that the inbound stop at Benson St Toowong (servicing the 412) now has real time ePaper displays.

Question - is there a reason Queensland Rail don’t mention Guardian Trains on the PIDs at all. Was on the network tonight and realised my service was a guardian train after reading the timetable. Would be a nice addition to the PIDs IMO.

I think eventually all new trains will get the next generation dynamic PIDs. Hopefully 
Nah those have been there since Transdev took delivery of a bunch of OC500LE Bustech VSTs a few years ago.
The problem is that they have never even made an effort to get them to work.
That stop I mentioned a few months ago that was getting a e-display installed still hasn’t gotten it yet (the one up from the Gabba stadium just before Wellington Rd). Would anyone know if there are other stops in the same situation as that one?

That outbound East Brisbane school stop has had the J-pole with the unused solar panel attachment since at least Jan 2025. At this point I imagine plans have changed and they’ve just left the pole.
Interestingly Cornwall Street at Rusk Street westbound (essentially at Dutton Park station) has had e-paper fully installed since about Jan 2025 despite only being serviced by the local 202 and for some closures railbus. Since then the rail bus stop is now always on Annerley road and the 202 has been truncated in BNBN to terminate at that stop. Some point between May 2025 and yesterday when I went past again they’ve finally decided there are better places to use it and the stop is now left with an unused attachment like East Brisbane.

Given Tce at Paddington, stop 5, Paddington has ePaper now.
Given Tce at Old Paddo Post Office, stop 8, Paddington is noted on the 61s internal PID as well.
Also note that KGS is slowly being phased away with City Hall mentioned first.

No idea when it was done, but the Alexandra Hills Shopping Center bus stop is now equipped with E-Ink PIDs. Rest of the road is yet to have it
